One strength of the Bradford approach to developing Personalisation is the effort that has been invested in maintaining a relationship between the third sector and Adult Services. This has been done through Adult Services staff attending and contributing to events that we have run, and through feed back to the Personalisation advisory group.
If services are to develop in the way that we hope, it will be important to continue to keep these lines of communication open. We would like to encourage discussion of how to continue to support the activities we have outlined above, whilst recognising the real budgetary pressures that currently exist.
Similarly, we need to ensure that the Personalisation Made in Bradford network does not duplicate other work that is being done in Bradford in the Personalisation field. We would aim to ensure this primarily by maintaining a very practical, service-development focus for the Network. In other words, it is a network for organisations actively pursuing the development of services.
