The themes for the working groups were informed by discussions that we had with Bradford MDC and third sector organisations in Bradford. We wanted to ensure that the working groups had a practical focus, so we encouraged people to consider developing working groups based around opportunities to develop services.
The four working groups were
- Development of Personal Assistant Services
- Support Planning and Brokerage
- Development of Paid for services
- Social Business skills
Each working group met once every six weeks – other than the social business skills working group, which altered its focus and became the DIY social business planning course, which ran weekly for six weeks.
