The aim of this group was to explore more general issues around setting up socially enterprising services. It was aimed at organisations that weren’t yet ready to set up services, but wanted to explore social enterprise in a bit more detail.
There was a lack of interest in this working group and based on suggestions made during the first social business session we decided that alternative support would be of more use to the people we were working with. As a result we ran workshops on financial good practice, social impact reporting and a six-week social business planning course.
